Mr V. Sridhar is Management Graduate in Marketing, did his Post Graduation Proficiency course in Marketing Management and Financial Management from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore in 1986. His basic education is Bachelor of Commerce from Bangalore University .

He served the corporate world for a period of 18 years and served organizations like Dunlop India Limited, Brilliants, Pentasoft Technologies and later served the Development Sector for a period of 8 years. His highest position that he held while he was in Corporate was General Manager and he managed a large team of over 800 people working under his dynamic leadership.

He also served Amity University , Noida and managed an independent institution called Amity Institute of NGO Management where he introduced several courses including the Post Graduation Diploma in NGO Management. He was highly successful in placing students of NGO Management in large NGOs and managed to raise funds for various NGOs across the country by extending consultancy services to the tune of over Rs. 25 crores. His networking with national and international funding agencies besides contacts in Government of India is noteworthy.

Between July 2007 to June 2008 Mr Sridhar took the challenge of developing one NGO in Bangalore namely Samarthanam Trust for the Disabled. This Trust was established in the year 1997 by three visually impaired young graduates. You can visit www.samarthanam.org to know more about this organization. Inspired by the passion, dedication and commitment by these three young graduates, Mr Sridhar took the challenge of developing this NGO in the year 2007. During this last one year, Mr Sridhar introduced many fundraising activities which helped Samarthanam raise over Rs. 1.5 crores under his dynamic leadership. He created a fundraising department with a team of 15 people. Some of the fundraising initiatives introduced by Mr Sridhar are :

He pioneered a concept of outsourcing a global organization to raise funds from individuals of Bangalore City . This has never happened in India . Even organizations of repute who are of International standards have not thought of such an "out of box" innovative idea. He has been responsible in associating with one of the leading organization in their industry and has set a target of raising Rs. 19 Crores in a span of two years. The activity is quite successful and going on fine as of now.

Mr Sridhar has conducted over 20 fundraising workshops and over 500 NGOs in India have benefited from his powerful public speaking capabilities. During his workshop, several NGOs have found his fundraising techniques quite useful and those who have implemented his ideas, have seen tremendous success.

On the personal side, he is married and has two sons who are pursing their primary and higher education in Bangalore
